5 steps to a great week

1. Car battery dies while driving home. While this sounds like a run-of-the-mill joy of car ownership problem, it is a little more hazardous in Washington DC. No, not because of the half crazed maniac (a term i think is a bit mild for Washingtonian drivers) but because any car immobile at a green light, on capitol hill, is a threat (even on a Sunday) and requires many police officers to come to your "aid." These are the same police officers who barrel down the street (ignoring traffic flow) chasing anyone with a vehicle larger than a bread box, well ok, a 15 passenger van--i explained myself to the officers, amidst blaring sirens and barking k-9s, settled back into my dieing car and finished the drive.

2. Wireless internet=purgatory, seriously I'm near sainthood.

3. OUR HOUSE STILL HAS NO KITCHEN. Yes, one month, ONE MONTH after the commencement of the kitchen progress we still have nothing to refrigerate, cook or clean. Mad props to the 9 freckled girl, you rock for making it livable.

4. Dropped. keys. in. toilet. awesome.

5. It is only 10:00 am est, i'm totally ready for the week.
